The objective of this club is to further athletics, bring honor to our school and to develop leadership.
The club is composed of boy’s who have won letters in the various sports, namely, football, basketball and baseball. Twenty-three boy’s are now members of this group.
The Letterman’s Club annually assists in the selection of a Senior as the most valuable athlete of the year. The selection is based on the following points, number of sports participated in, cooperation with the coach and team, attitude toward the team and the school, training and sportsmanship. The name is placed on the Dr. Reinking Trophy.
The club members participated in the High School Carnival. The boy’s were responsible for the bingo, cat game, penny toss, roulette wheel, dart game and the swing ball.
Some of the boy’s participated in all three sports, while others took part in only one or two. We appreciate the efforts of these boy’s in the work they do. It requires the combined effort of all to make our athletic program a success.
