LION’S CLUB CHRISTMAS TOURNAMENT

This year the following teams were invited to the Lion’s Club Tournament: Odessa, Medical Lake and Chewelah. Pairings for the first evening matched Reardan and Medical Lake, and Odessa against Chewelah. The results of the first round of play were:

Reardan 53
Medical Lake 41
Odessa 49
Chewelah 26

The next evening the winners played winners and losers against losers. In the consolation game, Chewelah edged by Medical Lake to the tune of 45-42.

The results of the final and championship game was:

BI-COUNTY PLAY-OFFS

The tournament followed the same pattern as last year, namely a double elimination tournament with the four top teams of the northern division playing against the four top teams of the southern division.

This year Reardan placed second in the northern division of the Bi-County League, which according to schedule, matched us with Lind which placed third in the southern division. Dates, places played and teams played against follow:

First Round - Feb. 10 at Harrington
Reardan 46
Lind 47
Second Round - Feb. 11 at Wilbur
Reardan 54
Creston 52
Third Round or Semifinals - Feb. 12 at Wilbur
Reardan 39
Ritzville 45
