Crops Judging Team

The first contest held at Central Valley found Jerry Schultz, Herbert Franson and Tom Frase on the team, with Dick Kamm and Renate Bockholt as alternates. The team was 7th out of 12 teams competing. At Clarkston, Dick Kamm took Tom Frase’s place on the team. They placed 8th out of 13 teams. This same team was 7th out of 11 teams competing at Pullman. Delmar Haugen was an alternate at Pullman.

The sub-district parliamentary contest was held at Reardan on February 25, 1956, where the Reardan team placed second. This entitled them to enter the district contest at Mead, where they were fifth. The team also put on demonstrations for Springhill and West Deep Creek Granges, and the Reardan Lions Club.
