Yell Leaders
Left to right: Janice Hendrix, Phyllis Meyer, Donna Collier.
SCHOOL SONG Rah, rah for Reardan
Reardan must win
Fight to the finish
Never give in
Rah, rah, rah, rah,
You do your best, boys
We'll do the rest, boys
Rah, rah, for Reardan High
Rah, rah, rah.
Again we commend our yell leaders for the excellent work they have done in encouraging: enthusiasm and sportsmanship at our pep rallies and games.
Before each Conference game [football and basketball] we have a pep rally in the gymnasium. We wish to thank the band members for their contributions of music, as it aided in the stimulation of school spirit and enthusiasm.
We also commend our Yell Leaders for the fine leadership given us at ball games, both at home and away. You have faithfully performed your duties of leadership and sportsmanship as you led us in our yells.
We will lose Phyllis Meyer due to graduation, Phyllis has served for three years as a yell leader. Her services will be missed, but good luck and success to you, Phyllis as you continue your education.
Janice and Denna will be with us again next year. The third yell leader is chosen by a majority vote at a student body meeting.
FAVORITE YELLS
Team’s in a huddle
Coach is at the head
They all get together
And this is what they said—
“We're going to go, go, go
We're going to fight, fight, fight.
We're going to win, win, win
We're going to beat —.”
Go Fight
Win team win
INDIANS
Down by the goal post, skit, skat
We want a touchdown, push em back
We'll block em, We'll tackle em,
We'll rush right through
Come on Indians, that means you,
(from a yearbook held by the Reardan Schools.)
