The student body officers are elected from this group by ballot. The officers are elected the second week of school. The officers or the school year 1956-57 were:
President: Robert Backer
Vice-president: Bill Hein
Secretary: Marlene Bergeron
Treasurer: Robert Kirk
The Student Council is the governing body of the student organizations. The Council meets regularly every Friday preceding the student body meeting which is held the first Monday of each month. The Vice-president presides over the Council meetings.
