Land Judging Team
Herbert Franson, Kenneth Koch, Edward Lynch
The Land Judging Team composed of Ken Koch, Ed Lynch and Herb Franson, placed first out of the thirteen teams that were competing at Fairfield on October 12, 1957. Ken Koch placed second and Ed Lynch, third in individual scoring.
Dairy Judging Team
Wayne Rattray, Kenneth Koch, Jerry Cox.
The dairy team consisting of Wayne Rattray, Jerry Cox, and Kenneth Koch placed fifth at the Deer Park Fair. Wayne placed seventh; Jerry Cox, eighth; and Ken Koch, ninth in individual scoring.
Last fall twenty-eight different boys exhibited at the Lincoln County, Deer Park, and Spokane Interstate Fairs. We received a total of 116 blue, 108 red, and 72 white ribbons at the three fairs. On livestock, eight grand, seven reserve grand, and seven junior champions were received, Jerry Cox won the dairy fitting and showing at all three fairs.
