Majorettes

The Reardan High School Majorettes appearing in new uniforms of white polished cotton with red felt trim and head bands of white felt with the name “Majorettes” across the front performed at several basketball games during the year.

The girls performed [twirled] during the half time period at the Davenport, Almira, and Creston games. They also performed at the first Bi-County tournament game at Davenport.

The Majorettes also marched with the band at the Lincoln County Fair in Davenport, at the Stadium Show, the Spokane Lilac Parade and Reardan Community Day Parade.

Much credit goes to Mrs. Giffing for her help and instruction in supervising and training the girls in this activity.

BI-COUNTY MUSIC FESTIVAL

RITZVILLE HIGH SCHOOL GYMNASIUM, MARCH 22, 1958

The Music Departments of the Lincoln and Adams County Schools presented the Fourth Annual Bi-County Music Festival on March 22.

The Reardan Music groups attended this Festival. Both the band and chorus participated.

Twelve schools were involved in this event. The Chorus group sang with the rest of the Massed Festival Choruses under the direction of Mr. Milton Johnson. The band Participated in the Massed Festival Band under the direction of Mr. Robert Miller.
