REARDAN, Dec. 27.—Reardan and Creston advanced to the finals tonight of the 12th annual Reardan Lions Christmas basketball tournament. Reardan defeated Sprague, 49-47 Creston topped Springdale, 46-44.

Losers play tomorrow night at 7:30 with winners to meet immediately following this game.

'Reardan Tops Sprague EDWALL, Wash., Jan. 28.— Down 26-23 at half time, Reardan rallied to beat Sprague 54-50 in school basketball action here last week end.

Denny Humphrey scored 17 points for the victors. Fred Hill made 15 for Sprague.

Reardan Hits 61

DAVENPORT, Wash., Feb. 3.— Paced by Denny Humphreys’ 21 points, Reardan high school defeated Davenport 61-58 in a northern division Bi-County basketball game.

Reardan led 16-10 at the end of the first period and 37-26 at the half. Dave Millard scored 14 points for Davenport and Brian Ziemer had 13.

Win From Davenport

DAVENPORT, Wash.—Davenport’s Gorillas garnered a split in two tight Bi-County league basketball contests. The Gorillas defeated Creston’s Comets, 38-35, and lost to the Reardan Indians, 49-41.

Darwin Wisdom, 5-10 guard, broke Davenport’s back in the Reardan game, grabbing off 19 rebounds. Denny Humphrey hit 21 points for the winners, but Tom Sanders of Davenport was high with 23.

Reardan Five Wins

REARDAN, Wash., Dec. 5.— Reardan came from behind to beat Valley 43-36 in a Bi-County league basketball game here this week.

Denny Humphrey paced the winners with 15 points. Denny Burya had 17 points for Valley. Valley led 20-17 at the half.

Reardan Gains Tie for Northern Lead

REARDAN, Wash., Feb. 10.— Reardan owned a tie for the lead in the northern division of the Bi-County basketball league after knocking off previously top-place Wilbur by a score of 72-46.

Wilbur and Reardan each have 6-1 records in league play.

Reardan’s Denny Humphrey led all scorers with 20 points. His teammate Tom Frase scored 20. Brad Peterson led Wilbur with 11.

Reardan led all the way and had a 30-22 halftime lead.

Reardan Dumps Springdale Five In Hoop Battle

SPRINGDALE, Wash., Jan. 17.--Twenty-eight points by Denney Humphrey paced the Reardan high school basketball team in a 7440 non-conference win over Springdale.

Springdale’s Bill Jeanerette notched 20 points. Reardan took an 18-6 first period lead and was out front 35-22 at the half.
