The Reardan Post office has been in several places including:

  • Capps or Capp's Station about 1 mile north of town just northwest of WA 231 and Euclid Road. This was a stage coach stop on road to Post Spokane/Fort Spokane and predated Reardan and the railroad that served it. [c1882 to 1889?]
  • McCoy's Drug Store housed the post office for several years. W. H. McCoy was the post master and ran the post office out of his store that was about 100 feet south of the depot on Lake Street. [c1889-1940]
  • A building between the Stevenson Block and the Reardan Meat Market (now part of the R-Store). [1940 to c1959]
  • The middle part of the Mattes' Building along Broadway Avenue [US 2] west of Lake Street. [c1959 to 1966]
  • A dedicated building on the north west corner of Lake Street and Spokane Avenue. [1966 to present]
