EXASPERATED FARMERS.

The Refusal of the Northern Pacific to Build Side Tracks,

The Reardan farmers are exasperated because the Northern Pacific railroad refuses to lay a side track to their elevator. They consider it coercion upon the part of the Northern Pacific railroad people whom they charge with endeavoring to force them to store their grain in the Northern Pacific elevator, The Reardan Farmers Alliance has adopted the following resolutions:

Whereas, ‘The members of Reardan Farmers’ Alliance, No. 117, believe the Northern Pacific Railroad company is unjustly discrimination against the Reardan Farmers’ Alliance Grain and Produce company, by refusing to put in a side track to their elevator, in favor of the Northern Pacific Elevator company, and we take it as evident that a combine exists between the Northern Pacific Railroad company to force our wheat into the Northern Pacific Elevator company's warehouse by not complying with our request for a side track to our elevator; therefore be it

Resolved, That the members of this alliance pledge themselves not to sell their grain to the Northern Pacific elevator company until the Northern Pacific Railroad company puts in a side track to our elevator; and be it further

Resolved, That any member selling his grain to said Northern Pacific Elevator company from and after the passage of these resolutions shall be deemed unworthy to longer remain a member of this alliance. a
