Max Mecklenburg, through the firm, purchased from J. C. Lawrence 60 acres of land, four and one-half miles southwest from Riverside and Howard, adjoining Stafford’s addition. The purchase price was $8000. This land will be platted by Mr. Mecklenburg and sold in five and 10 acre tracts.

The land is described as the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of section 7, township 24, range 43. Mr, Mecklenburg 1s a well-to-do rancher of the Big Bend country.
