FAST HORSES ENTERED FOR WHITMAN FAIR

"Dare Devil" Kohl is at work on the balloon with which he will make an ascension every day of the Whitman county fair, October 16-21.

Flights by Reuben Bowers in his improved biplane will also be features of the fair. Bowers built his own airship on the plans of the Curtiss machine. He is from Harrington, Wash.

All the races have been filled and the indications are that they will be the best ever pulled off on the Whitman county fair grounds. Among the harness horses entered are: King Bird, Jack Munrou, Katrinka Norte, Frisco, King Seal, Tom M., Brook Belle, Rena Delnorte and Palouse Boy.
