BRAVES CURRENTS OF AIR IN GLIDER
Martin Denine Builds Bi-plane and Flies Without Engines in First Trials.
Martin Denine of E1110 Indiana avenue, a Spokane aeroplane enthusiast, has constructed a biplane similar to the Curtiss type. The machine, minus motive power, is now being used by Denine in gliding experiments.
Denine has housed his biplane at Minnehaha park and has made several descents in the last few days from the high cliffs to the level ground. Denine will install an engine as soon as he feels that he has sufficiently mastered the air currents to safeguard himself against accidents.
