LUTHER LEAGUE MEETS


OTTO MAHRT OF REARDAN IS CHOSEN PRESIDENT.


REARDAN, Wash, June 26.—The third annual convention of the Inland Federated Luther League of the Washington district of the joint synod of Ohio was held here.

Representatives were present from Wilbur, Davenport, Fairfield, Waverly, Endicott and Spokane.

The convention opened with a short service in which the Reardan pastor and the president of the convention participated.

In the morning session a paper was read by Mr. Tramm of Reardan on “The Advantages of the Luther League,’ which caused & lively discussion.

Miss Blizabeth Morash of Endicott read an essay entitled “The Hastening of the Twentieth Century.”

The following officers were elected:

  • President, Otto Mahrt of Reardan.
  • Vice President, Herman Hellbaum of Endicott,
  • Secretary, Miss Bertha Boehme of Reardan.
  • Treasurer, Miss Martha Hopf of Davenport.
