Mother Rides Fast Mail to Bedside of Dying Son

Special to The Daily Tribune. : Havre, Dee. 3.—Edward Ditmar, a brother of Charles Ditmar of Havre, died Saturday at Rudyard of influenza. Mrs. Josephine Ditmar of Spokane, Wash., the mother of the young man, chartered a special ear which was attached to fast mail train No. 28 but did not reach Rudyard until Sunday morning, too late to see her son alive. The body was shipped to Spokane for burial.
