PAVELICH PLEADS NOT GUILTY

A demurrer alleging that the information charging John Pavelich with manslaughter in connection with the death of Dr. George Green was insufficient to justify the charge was overruled by Superior Judge Witt today.

Attorney R. W. Nuzum, representing Pavelich, argued the motion before Judge Witt. claiming that the information charged more than one offense, that it was indefinite and that it does not state facts sufficient to justify a manslaughter charge.

The information charges that Pavelich drove in an imprudent manner, that he was driving in excess of the speed limit and that he drove in a reckless manner, each of which, it is said, are separate offenses.

Following the ruling of the court Pavelich entered a plea of not guilty and his case was sent for trial on April 13.
