PAVELICH TRIAL IS UNDER WAY

John Pavelich, charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of Dr. George Greene at Fourth and Division last November, is standing trial before a jury in Superior Judge Webster's court today.

Pavelich is alleged to be the driver of the car that collided with Dr. Greene's causing the death of the physician.

Difficulty in securing jurors who were not prejudiced was experienced by both the state and defense today. It is expected that the greater part of the day will be used in securing a jury.

A jury that tried Pavelich on the same charge two months ago disagreed and was discharged after a long period of deliberation.
