COUNSEL ARGUE PAVELICH CASE
Arguments in the Jobn Pavelich manslaughter case were started in Superior Judge Webster's court this afternoon, where the case is being tried before a jury.
The charge is an outgrowth of an automobile collision at Fourth and Division when Dr. George Greene was killed last March.
State witnesses have testified that Pavelich was driving at a high rate of speed, while defense witnesses claim that the physician was also driving at an excessive speed and that his car struck the Pavelich car. Attorneys Nuzum, Turner & Nuzum are representing Pavelich, while Deputy Prosecutors Colburn and Jesseph are appearing for the state.
