GIRL SUES HOTEL MAN FOR $10,715


J. Pavelich Threw Her From Auto, Breaking Her Arm and Ribs, Says Miss Humphreys.

He Was Also Involved in Anto Accident When Dr. Green Lost His Life.


Join Pavelich of the Utah hotel, who was recently acquitted on manslaughter charge after he was accused of causing the death of Dr. G. H. Green in an auto accident, threw her from an auto August 25 breaking several ribs and her arm, according to Lela Humphreys, who sued for $10,775 damages yesterday.

Miss Humphreys avers, she went auto riding with Pavelich and that when they came to Indian canyon he made a proposal to her and when she would not yield to his demands he threw her from the car. She declares she believes she will never recover from the injuries.

In addition to $10,000 asked for the personal injuries, Miss Humphreys seeks $775 for Jewelry and clothing which she alleges Pavelich took from her before he threw her out of the car. Miss Humphreys alleges that Pavelich took a $500 necklace, $75 in currency, & $75 coat, @ $25 hat and an $80 cameo.

Pavelich was arrested on a manslaughter charge after his car collided with that of Dr. Green last spring. A jury acquitted him of the charge and he faces a civil suit.

Pavelich is interested in the Utah hotel, according to the attorneys.
