REARDAN TESTS NEW TOWN WELL


Produces 50 Gallons Per Minute for 24 Hours— Fisher Hurt by Horse.


REARDAN, Wash. March 30.—(Special.)—The new town well which has just been completed was tested out last week and produced 50 gallons per minute over a period of more than 24 hours. The city council is taking steps to connect the well to the town water system. The well is 132 feet deep.

John Fisher, age 64, sustained a fractured hip Thursday when a young horse which he was breaking to drive, threw him to the ground. He is convalescing in the Reardan Community hospital.

Mrs. Ida Jackson was surprised yesterday on her birthday when a number of her friends gathered at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. A. Gunning, where she is stopping. A social afternoon was spent by: Mrs. H. G. Burns, Mrs. A. D. Hanel, Mrs. H. J. Mattes, Mrs. J. R. Davidson, Mrs. D. M. Hickox, Mrs. G. A. Magnuson, Mrs. R. W. Safford, and Mrs. T. J. Stockstill.
