EVERY HUNTER GETS HIS DEER


REARDAN, Wash., Nov. 2.—(Special.)—H. G. Burns, P. N. Tramm, Will Hanning and S. A. Weipert are home from their annual hunting trip into the Yaak country in Montana. Each hunter brought home a deer.

The public card party sponsored by the Reardan Woman's club was attended by 60 ladies, taxing the commodious home of Mrs. Hattie Raymer, where it was held. Prizes were awarded in the following order: Mrs. C. Finrow, Mrs. W. A. Hard, Mrs. R. P. Castle.

The first killing frost in this section arrived Sunday night and snow fell yesterday, melting as it struck the ground.

Roy Irvine, until recently publisher of the Lacrosse Clipper, was a visitor, in Reardan Friday and recalling the days of 20 years ago, when he was publisher of the Reardan Gazette.

Mrs. Ida Jackson entertained at a 1 o'clock luncheon yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. A. Gunning. The Halloween motif prevailed both in decorations and favors. The party included: Mrs. Jackson, Mrs. N. G. Moon, Mrs. Neil Bowie, Mrs. A. Quirie, Mrs. R. W. Safford, Mrs. J. R. Davidson, Mrs. William Koeller, Mrs. J. C. Driscoll, Mrs. Hattie Raymer, Mrs. A. Lutzhoft, Mrs. F. B. Barnard and Mrs. D. A. Gunning.
