LAUNCH GRAIN GROWERS’ LOCAL


Organization Directors Named for New Unit—American Legion Buys Building.


REARDAN, Wash., Dec. 13.—One hundred and fifty farmers of the Reardan, Waukon, Deep Creek, Crescent and Mondovi districts gathered here yesterday and laid plans for a local unit of the North Pacific Grain Growers, Inc. F. J. Wilmer of Rosalia and Senator Sutton of Cheney, both members of the regional board, outlined the general plan of the federal farm board, down to the functions of the local units.

Victor Hyslop, chairman, named eight directors of organization as follows: Otto Wegner, Emil Dueber, Harry Tramm, P. N. Tramm, Reardan; Morris Ahern, Deep Creek; Waldo Jackson, Crescent, and Gus Magnuson, S. A, Weipert, Waukon,

Will Remodel’ Building.

The American legion post has bought the old Reardan garage building from George Schultz, for $1600. The building is to be remodeled, with hardwood floors, lighting features and furnace. The legion plans to fit the place for a community dance hall
