Completion of a deal for purchase of the four concrete elevators and four warehouses of the Reardan Union Grain company by the Reardan Grain Growers, Inc., local wheat cooperative of North Pacific Grain Growers, was announced here today by A. C. Adams, treasurer of North Pacific.

The facilities were valued at $70,000 in the deal, made on a stock exchange basis.

The elevators and sack houses are located one each at Reardan, Hite, Gravelles and Eleanor. They have a combined capacity of 515,000 bushels. The elevators hold 70,000 bushel each.

Reardan Grain Growers has a membership of 126 growers, who turned in about 350,000 bushels of Wheat last year.

"The Reardan local should add from 40 to 50 more members as a result of acquiring these facilities," said Mr. Adams. “The local should handle more than 500,000 bushels of 1931 wheat.

"This is a real cooperative deal bringing together the Reardan local and the farmer-owned Reardan Union Grain company. It strengthens the position of the local materially."

George Schultz, manager of the storehouses, will be retained as manager for the local.
