Reardan Hospital Directors Named
REARDAN, Wash., May 10.—Newly elected as directors of the Reardan Memorial association are Tom Landreth, Espanola; Hale Simpson and John Hampton, both of Edwall. Reelected to office are John Brommer, Otto Mahrt, William J. Colville and Gus Magnuson.
Chairman John Brommer presided at the annual meeting and Treasurer Otto Mahrt gave the financial report dating from May 1, 1949, to May 8, 1950.
The expenditures amount to $23,717.41 for the new clinic and $4941.94 for the old building, totaling $28,659.35. Income includes donations, $10,747.50; private loans, $8200; Community day, $8600; rent, $1010, totaling $28,557.50.
The Reardan Memorial clinic will be formally dedicated to those who served in World War II by the Rev. Edward Wagner on Community day, June 3, at 11:30 a, m. at the school athletic field. Open house will be held at the clinic from 1:30 to 5 p. m. Mr. Wagner is pastor of the Lutheran churches of Reardan and Cheney and for five years was vice chairman of the general Community day committee and for four years also vice chairman of the Reardan Memorial association.
Final plans for Community day will be decided upon at the Community day committee meeting tomorrow at 8 p. m. in the schoolhouse.
