A frame elevator and warehouse of the Centennial Flouring Mills company and freight cars on a Northern Pacific siding were destroyed by fire at Reardan, Wash., Wednesday night. The loss was estimated at $120,000. Stored in the buildings were 29,000 bushels of wheat and 4000 bushels of barley, some of which may be salvaged. Firemen from four towns and Fairchild air force base battled the flames in near- blizzard conditions. (Batchelor-Plath photo.)
