RETIRED PHONE WORKER SUCCUMBS AT REARDAN

REARDAN, Wash., Jan, 28.—Funeral services for Peter Schneider, 70, will be Saturday morning in St. Michaels Catholic church, The Rey. Anthony Flour will officiate.

Mr. Schneider, a resident of this area 49 years, died at his home yesterday. Born at Muscoda, Wis., he came to the Crescent community near of Reardan in 1905 where he was employed at cheese maker at the Crescent cheese factory. In 1922 he began work for Reardan Telephone company and later the Interstate Telephone company until 1938 when a severe injury caused by a fall forced him to retire.

Survivors include his widow, Eda B., at the home; five sisters and a brother in Wisconsin and a sister in Mason City, Iowa.
