REARDAN DIALS READY IN JULY

The $77,000 conversion to dial operation at Reardan, Wash., by General Telephone Company of the Northwest will be complete July 10.

Ray U. Gibson, the firm's Davenport district manager, said Reardan telephone numbers will be changed to conform to the numbering plan now in use in most dial exchanges in the country.

The inauguration of the numbering plan at Reardan is in preparation for the time when nationwide customer toll dialing will take effect, Gibson said.

The firm also is in the process of rehabilitating long distance lines between Reardan and Davenport and from Reardan to Medical Lake junction. It also is constructing carrier circuits from Reardan to Spokane.
