The Detillion Bridge used to carry WA-25 across the Spokane River. It was about 10 miles upstream of the Columbia River.
The bridge has a long history:
- Bridge built
- 1894-1901 repaired
- 1903 bridge closed again
- 1903 Howe Truss Bridge built
- 1904 washed out
- 1905 bridge repaired
- 1909 bridge condemned and new bridge built
- 1939 bridge collapsed when collided with a fuel tanker trailer
- 1939 temporary pile bridge built
- 1940 bridge closed due to high water and again reopened
- 1941 bridge deck was blasted off and used as a dock for the Grand Coulee fleet of boats
