Tom Hyslop of Reardan was captain and a member of the Washington state college rifle team that placed third in this year's national intercollegiate rifle matches. About 125 colleges and universities participated in this contest.

He and his family left Tuesday for Love Field, Dallas, Texas, where he is stationed. Lt. Hyslop is graduate of WSC and while there was an expert rifleman.
