Phillip Plotts Killed

Word has been received here of the death of Phillip Plotts, who was killed in an airplane crash in the south Pacific. He enlisted in the navy in the summer of 1941, shortly after graduating from Sprague high school. He spend a few months of his training in Seattle and early in 1943 was sent overseas and has been in Australia most of the time. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Letha Plotts of Tyler, one sister, Mrs. John Ham of Spokane, three brothers, R. R. Plotts of Edwall, Manning of Chewelah, and Marvin of Vancouver, Wash., and his grandmother, Mrs. Cora Selvidge of Reardan.
