Mrs. Claude Humphrey and Miss Inez Day were hostesses at a reunion of the Reardan high school class of 1936. Saturday night at the home of the former. Cootie and other games were enjoyed after which refreshments were served. Those attending were Marcine Brooks, Ethel Mae Ekins, Evelyn Plaster, Margaret and Martha Joslin, Ralph Williams, Richard Paul, Donald Woods, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Johnson and Kenneth Reynolds of Spokane. Margaret Joslin and Donald Woods won the prizes for high score in the Cootie game and Marjorie Brooks and Richard Paul low.

Miss Martha Joslin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Joslin, left for Des Moines, Iowa, where she will receive her basic training in the WAAC. Miss Joslin is a graduate of the local high school and of WSC and for the past year has been teaching at Morton.

Mrs. C. F. Joslin received word from her daughter, Martha, who is a member of the WAC, that she is attending a cooks and bakers' school at Des Moines, Iowa. Martha enlisted last June, and is a graduate of the local high school and of WSC where she majored in home economics.

Friends have received word that Mrs. Ed King (Margaret Joslin) has enlisted in the Women's corps of the marines. Her twin sister, Martha, who enlisted in the WAC in June, is taking an interesting course in dehydrated foods at Des Moines, Iowa.

Private Martha Joslin of Reardan, a recent graduate of the Women's Army Corps bakers and cooks school, stacks sliced bread in a bread tin at a WAC mess hall at the first WAC training center, Fort Des Moines, Iowa. She is the daughter of Mrs. Margaret Joslin, former Reardan resident, now of Tacoma. Private Joslin enlisted last June, and is a graduate of Reardan high school and of Washington State college where she majored in home economics.

Private First Class Martha Joslin, who has been attending a cooks and bakers school in Fort Des Moines, Iowa, is visiting her mother, Mrs. Charles Joslin, in Spokane and other relatives. She has been in the service for a year and is a graduate of the local high school and of Washington State college.

Martha Joslin, WAC, who took her training at Des Moines, Iowa, writes her mother, Mrs. C. F. Joslin of Spokane, that she has been in New Guinea since August. She is a graduate of Reardan high school and Washington state college. At the time she entered the service, she was teaching school.

Martha Joslin, who joined the WAC three years ago, writes her mother, Mrs. Margaret Joslin, she has been promoted from private first class to technician fifth class. She is stationed at Pia Bay, New Guinea, and says that she is well and contented. WAC Joslin is a graduate of the Reardan high school and Washington state college. Prior to joining the service, she was teaching on the coast.

T 5 Martha Joslin arrived in San Francisco Sunday from the south Pacific islands. She joined the WAC in the early part of 1943. She is the daughter of Mrs. C. F. Joslin of Spokane, formerly of Reardan. WAC Joslin is a graduate of the Reardan high school and Washington State college. She taught school on the coast at the time of her enlistment.
