Foster Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson, will leave on Saturday for Minot, N. Dak., where he will start his training as an aviation cadet for the navy under the V-12 program. He is a graduate of the local high school.

March 23, 1944 Davenport Times-Tribune

One of the navy's V-12 students at North Dakota teachers college, Minot, N. Dak., is 18-year-old Foster Robert Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson of Espanola. He is a graduate of Reardan high school. In high school Anderson played on the basketball team and was captain of the Lincoln-Adams county championship team from Reardan in 1943.

June 22, 1944 Davenport Times-Tribune

Foster Anderson is expected home next Sunday from Minot, N. D., where he is a navy V-12 student. He has been in the service since March and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson.

July 6, 1944 Davenport Times-Tribune

Foster Anderson arrived home on Sunday for a leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson. He is a navy V-12 student and will return on July 1 for the second semester of his training at Minot, North Dakota. Foster Anderson, left Saturday morning for Minot, N. D., where he will start his second semester as a navy V-12 student. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson.

October 26, 1944 Davenport Times-Tribune

Foster Anderson, who is a student in naval aviation at Minot, N. D., came Sunday evening to spend the week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson. His roommate, Donald Duan, came with him and was his guest Sunday night. He left Monday for his home at Camas. Foster is a graduate of the Reardan high school and entered the service in March.

December 21, 1944 Davenport Times-Tribune

Lt. and Mrs. Bill Anderson of San Luis, Obispo, Calif., are visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson. Lt. Anderson received his commission as an infantryman at Fort Benning, Ga., in July. He is a graduate of the local high school and was attending WSC at the time of his entering the service. They left Wednesday. His brother, Foster Anderson, who is a naval V-12 cadet at Minot, N. D., will arrive here on Friday of this week and will miss his brother by two days.

January 4, 1945 Davenport Times-Tribune

Naval Cadet Foster Anderson returned to Minot, N. D., on Saturday, having spent a holiday leave here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson. He is a V-12 student.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson had word that their son, Seaman second class Foster Anderson, has been transferred from Alameda to St. Marys, Calif., where he will continue his pre-flight training.

Navy Aviation Cadet Foster Anderson has his discharge October 10 at St. Marys, Calif. He was in training 21 months, most of which was at Minot, N. D., Cadet Anderson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson.
